Emotional Eating is a NO so I cry.......

and I cry and I cry and I cry or so it seems to me, I don't think I have cried this amount of tears since my Grandpa was very sick in the hospital and @ the same time my dog developed "storm phobia" and she was headed for the pound and I was suffering from sleep apnea and having horrible nightmares........

And why you ask am I emotional?! Why should I be? The man candy and I are launching our very own business venture, it's an exciting time so why all the flippin' tears?!

Chalk it up to mama separation from her boys. Now these aren't just boys these are young men. One has been off to college for a year and the other one has been out of high school and working full time for year so they haven't really been around anyways but it really hit home with the youngest one moving his things out of the house that I am officially an empty nester and um it hurts, it hurts to not be needed anymore, to not have someone depend on you for nuturing, to be just another woman in the crowd. My heart is heavy but if I keep busy with stuff I don't seem to be as bad but tonight I am an official cry baby. And since I can't turn to food I turn to blog.........

thanks for listening my fellow bloggers and bandster peeps! I wish I could eat a side of grass raised beef right now..........not really.

ahhh Julie... your emotions are normal, your boys have been part of your life.. all of their lives.. and now they are growing and forming their life's path.. so really you need to celebrate on a JOB WELL DONE.. they are maturing and becoming adults.. Yes it leaves a gap... but now time for mama to pursue things that she has put off on her "ME" list... So celebrate dear Julie... you have been successful in your charge.. and it does deserve a good cry with tears of happiness and pride!!!

My daughters are 9 and 7, but I'm already dreading the day they leave home. Chances are in this economy that one or more of them will be back before you know it. They'll probably have a dog...or a wife...or a grandchild with them.

Oh Honey. I don't know what it feels like to be an empty nester, but I suspect you will always be needed. Good luck in your new business.

You just wait honey until your Mother, and Father are both gone, your kids are all gone and on their own w/their "own" lives and then your two dogs are both gone! I miss my little guy so much, I know he was just a dog, but to me he was the world I loved that little one....so I eat and I cry LOL

Thanks everyone! What encouragement! I'm doing much better, staying busy helps, not thinking about it helps, not talking about it helps ~ you see I use to cram these emotions down with food....now I don't so I guess blogging, venting, crying are the remedy or maybe I should just deal with it?! LOL Thanks again everyone!! (you too Mom ~ now stop eating and crying)
